Aida Batlle named among top 100 innovators by GOOD Magazine
Award-winning Salvadoran coffee farmer Aida Batlle was recognised by GOOD Magazine as one of the world's top 100 innovators.
Batlle was recognised for her work in boosting the movement towards thoughtful and ethical food. Batlle is a fifth-generation coffee farmer, and is on the board of the Specialty Coffee Association of America and a Director for the Alliance of Coffee Excellence. She has previously been featured in the New Yorker and Time Magazine.
GOOD Magazine is a quarterly print publication aimed at those "looking to live well by doing Good", the publication said in a statement. The GOOD 100 list was presented in partnership with the GAP apparel brand.
Other listed people include supermodel/actress Lily Cole, Beijing's environmental activist Ma Jun, Iranian-American filmmaker Negin Farsad, and Berlin artist Olafur Eliasson.
