The first of its kind specialized Event in Russia - United Coffee & Tea Industry Event (UCTIE) has been successfully conducted in Expocenter, Moscow from 12-14 September 2013. The exhibition marked a gathering of the tea and coffee industries with 85 exhibitors from all over the world. The 3 days event combined exhibition, completions, conference and presentation platform for representatives of the entire production chain, from been and leaf to cup. Within UCTIE there were held more than 40 workshops and presentations by 37 highly skilled professionals from around the world, including those from Russia. More than 2000 professional visitors from various regions of Russia, CIS countries, Europe, America and Asia have visited UCTIE this year.  The communication format offered to the UCTIE participants was extremely diverse: in addition to the traditional Moscow International Coffee Forum and Moscow International Tea Symposium there were organized special interactive zones for different tasting and visual experiences - Tasting Lab and Roasting factory, where everybody could enjoy the best samples of coffee and tea. On the UCTIE platform there were held two championships: for tea - National Tea Masters Cup , and coffee - Coffee Enthusiast Team Cup . The Tea Cup participants competed in three categories: Tea Master, Tea Composition and Tea Tasting. Each of these nominations allowed evaluating the level and participants mastership in different aspects of tea culture. Being a unique competition created especially for the Event it has been highlyevaluated by all the tea market participants.  Coffee Cup considered a number of competitions accompanied by educational aspects. 8 teams battled for a grand prize – a plantation trip to Ethiopia.The stages were fun and serious at the same time. Teams tested their knowledge in coffee and were able to take a fresh approach to the process of wine tasting, have received new information about water and milk, had a change to be a coacher for young generation.  The three days intensive business program was completed by a traditional Moscow Coffee & Tea Evening conducted in the relaxing communication atmosphere in the State Pushkin Museum where participants could summarize and exchange their experiences.  The conduction of the joint specialized industrial activity - United Coffee and Tea Industry Event is dictated by the development of the Russian market and transition to a higher global level.
