Starbucks Opens Coffee Shop on Navy Warship

For the first time ever, a Starbucks coffee shop is now open on a Navy amphibious assault ship.
The fully functioning coffee shop will provide sailors with Starbucks’ line of coffees, teas and smoothies on board the USS Boxer, a San Diego based Ship.
Navy personnel were trained by Starbucks baristas on how to operate the machines and prepare the signature drinks.
The crew may use their Navy Cash cards to purchase any product from “Starboxer” during normal working hours.
All profits will go to the ship’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation fund, according to the Navy.
