Russian coffee trader acquaints Russian roasters with Brazilian specialty coffee producers.

“KLD Coffee Importers” company has launched carrying out of a project to acquaint coffee roasters in Russia with high quality coffee producers in Brazil.
The aim of the project is to carry down information about different types of high-quality kinds of coffee, its producers and the region of production to the Russian consumer.
“KLD Coffee Importers” General Director Andrey Elson described the project in more detail:
“After my last year visit to the county we have opted for a Lower Modzhiana region, Espírito Santo do Pinhal city.
First project was started with the company “Blus”. Russian coffee roasters’ visit aroused the interest in the city. There were organized meetings with mayor, meetings with the Heads of Agricultural, Education and Tourism departments, publications in press, a story on TV.
During the stay, we visited several plantations, which we have started to work with last year. We discussed the next steps necessary for our cooperation development.
In the interview to a local television CEO of Blues Viktor Portnov noted: It has been a long time we know that the Modzhiana region coffee has excellent features for making espresso. Having arrived to the place we got convinced of its variety and great taste. After the personal contact with Pinhal farmers, we made a decision to work with them. We would like to thank everybody for the interesting and useful meetings. We hope that we will come here again, not once and will meet our new partners.
